Job Overview

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of commissary production and event execution, also responsible for working closely with executive chef to assure standards are being met in all other aspects of the commissary operation. Must be capable of fulfilling all areas of executive chef’s responsibilities in her absence. Must work closely with executive chef in promoting company’s culture, mission and philosophy.

Job Description:  

  • Conduct hands-on teaching and training in commissary kitchen and at catering events, working closely with chefs and cooks, as well as other staff as applicable, and help with food preparation and execution.

  • Train and educate staff on new menu items and changes in procedures for current menu items; monitor and hold staff accountable for implementing the changes

  • Assist executive chef in detailed planning and administrative work with special projects.

  • Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings and training sessions.

  • Follow proper time-keeping policies and procedures.

  • Practice company culture

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum four years senior level or executive chef experience in high-quality, volume-oriented environment for Asian cuisine

  • Culinary School graduate or related training

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints.

  • Ability to work permanent night shifts

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Male or Female, Below 48
