Job Overview

Job Description: 

Product & process quality inspections and acceptance activities, control of non-conforming product, quality improvements, including support for the new product development and regulatory requirements & compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, perform and document the First Article Evaluation, Incoming, In-Process and Out-going quality assurance, inspections and records.

  • Plan, perform and document the control of non-conforming parts, materials & products process, including support for the Material Review Board, disposition, follow-up actions until close-out.

  • Responsible for incoming quality assurance. Accurately complete all administrative activities associated with incoming quality inspection. Perform incoming inspection. Prepare & execute Inspection plan, checklist or equivalent.

  • Download and analyse quality information from quality system to be used for Quality reports. Generate Quality metrics. Prepare Statistical Process Control Charts.

  • product & process quality inspection. Perform process audits and assists manufacturing with the interpretation of the quality and workmanship standards. Prepare & execute Inspection plan, checklist or

  • equivalent.

  • Plan and direct activities concerned with the establishment and/or continuance of process related requirements and other quality programs.

  • Assist for authorising the release of final products to customer. Prepare quality documentation or equivalent.

  • Actively engaged in measuring, inspecting, and/or testing products or parts and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge & Competencies:

Techniques (Technologies / Methodologies / Professional Knowledge): Competency Level

Practical computer skills and knowledge with hands-on ability: Intermediate

Knowledge in ISO13485 / ISO9001 quality management systems standards or equivalent: Intermediate

Quality Control 7 tools, Risk analysis tools (FMEA), Statistical Process Controls (SPC): Advanced

Problem-solving skills (DMAIC, Root cause analysis, Eight-Disciplines, etc.): Advanced

Essential Experience

  • Diploma / ITC / NTC certificate or equivalent in Engineering, Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical, Lifesciences, Pharmaceutical or related industry, preferably with two years experience in manufacturing environment

  • Supervise inspectors, operators or junior staffs on the inspection plan. Good team player, able to work independently without supervision and under stress environment, and self-motivated.

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staffs and overseas counterparts, customers, vendors and representatives from the regulatory bodies. Proficiency in written and communication skills in English.

Additional Requirements

  • Normal eyesight (without colour blindness) with ability to use dimensional metrology tools for inspection and verification (CMM, Projector, vernier caliper, etc.)

  • Able to work in a cleanroom environment with the required gownings and personal protective equipment (gloves). Willing to work in day and night shifts.

  • Ability to interpret within established procedures and follow. Careful with details and systematic in managing quality issues.
